Games for Children is a set of free browser games (also available as an Android app) that help young children learn the alphabet, numbers, and spelling. This page explains what information the app does and doesn't collect.
This app does not collect, store, or share any personal information on any server. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Everything the app remembers is kept only on your own device.
The setup screen optionally asks for a player's name and age, so the app can show a friendly greeting. If you enter this, it's saved only in your device's local storage (the same technology any website uses to remember settings) — it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it. You can change it anytime from the ⚙️ Settings button on the home screen, or remove it entirely by clearing this site's (or app's) data/storage in your browser or device settings.
This app is designed for young children to use, typically with a parent nearby. Because no personal information ever leaves the device, none is collected from children (or anyone else) by us, in line with the spirit of children's privacy laws like COPPA.
A few games credit their background music with a link to the artist's Pixabay page. Tapping one of these opens Pixabay's website in your browser, which has its own privacy policy — we have no control over those pages and no information is shared with them by our app.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
